Conductors' notes

Dublin Master Classes has announced details of a new International Orchestral Conducting Course to take place from July 14th to 23rd. The most ambitious of its kind to be launched in Ireland, the course will be given by NSO principal guest conductor, Gerhard Markson, and the 10 chosen participants will get to work with the NSO in rehearsal over a number of days, culminating in a concert at the NCH on Friday, July 23rd. The course, which has received support from the Arts Council, is being presented in association with RTE.
