A BLUTHNER upright piano will be among 300 or so lots of furniture at the Adams of Blackrock sale next Tuesday. Dating from 1902, the piano has an estimate of £800-£1,000. Two Victorian telescopic dining tables should sell for £600-£900 each; three sets of Victorian dining chairs have various estimates between £800 and £1,200; a Georgian slopefront bookcase could make £1,200, and there are several other bookcases, in the £800-plus bracket. A painting of a Dun Laoghaire shipyard by Maurice McGonigal is estimated at £2,000-£3,000.

Several lots of jewellery are also in the sale, including a Victorian diamond cluster ring (£1,000-£1,200) a diamond bracelet, (£1,750 £2,200), brooches and pendants, lobs, and rings.
