JAPAN is to get a chance to get a feel for Irish art in this century, when the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery tours an exhibition from its collection under the title, A Century Of Irish Art. The exhibition will open at the Hokkaido National Museum on May 24th, It will include 17 works, ranging from paintings by Nathaniel Hone, John and Jack Yeats, Mainie Jellett and Paul Henry, to Alice Maher, Fionnuala Ni Chiosain and Paddy Graham.
