An original catalogue from a 1937 Paris exhibition, Les Maitres de l'Art Independent 1895-1937 (The Masters of Independent Art), illustrated with work by Pablo Picasso among others, will be included in the items at the Dublin Castle Antiques and Collectables fair tomorrow. The event will also offer a wide range of special interest books, such as Alf Mafkell's 1911 Wood Sculpture, as well as prints and paintings, both oils and watercolours.
Other items on sale include fine Irish silverware, linen lace, lamps, mirrors, porcelain and china, gold and silver and Victorian and Edwardian jewellery, as well as bank notes, coins and medals. Opening at 10.30 a.m., the fair takes place in the Old Coach House.
