Employees (and their families) of The Irish Times, Nokia and their agents are not eligible to enter.

The prizes each month are;

1st Prize: The winner will €1000.
4 Runner up prizes: Four runners up will win the N95 8G.

Cash will not be given in lieu of any of the runner up prizes and the runner up prizes are strictly non-transferable.

The Irish Times will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Irish Times take no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

A valid entry is a photograph taken using a mobile phone camera or a digital camera, a caption (not exceeding 20 words) plus the entrant's name, address and daytime/mobile telephone number and sent to;

Entrants must obtain the consent of the subjects of the photo. Obscene or defamatory photos, or photos which invade the privacy of an individual will not be accepted.

Entries must fit within the monthly theme. This month’s theme is 'BORN PERFORMER'

Entrants may enter as many photos as they wish.

Entrants must be over 18 years of age.

Prize winners must be resident in the Republic of Ireland. Entries from other locations will be considered for publication in The Irish Times Magazine or on www.irishtimes.com but will not be eligible for prizes.

The judges will select a monthly winner who will have their picture (s) published in The Irish Times Magazine and on www.irishtimes.com. The judges will also select 4 runner up winners who will also have their picture (s) published in The Irish Times Magazine and on www.irishtimes.com. A selection of other submitted photographs will also be published on www.irishtimes.com.

In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, competition notice, conduct, results and all other matters relating to this competition, the decision of The Irish Times shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered.
