Warning on euro pricing

Businesses which try to take advantage of the changeover from the pound to the euro by raising prices on the back of the conversion will be heavily punished. At the introduction of The Euro and You: A Consumers Guide, the Minister for Labour, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Mr Tom Kitt, said he was aware of consumer fears but such price rises would not be tolerated.
