The Irish divisions of Vodafone and O2 have announced that they are to bundle Microsoft’s new Office 365 cloud computing product with their data and voice products to small and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs).

Vodafone said Office 365 would be available on its fixed and mobile voice and data services. This is part of a initiative across its global network by Vodafone.

Vodafone said its products would give businesses access to “enterprise-class productivity and telecoms services on a more affordable, rental basis”.

O2 also plans to bundle mobile and fixed services with Office 365 and said its plans would range in cost from €25 a month up to €65 a month depending on the plan chosen.

Cable TV and telecoms provider UPC Ireland has also signed a deal with Microsoft to bundle Office 365 with its products for SME customers.

This is part of a pan- European deal between UPC and Microsoft.
