IBEC, the employers' confederation, and Dublin Chamber of Commerce have called for urgent measures to prevent traffic chaos in areas around Dublin Airport and the north of the city when work on the Port Tunnel starts in the autumn.
Work is expected to start in September, with main excavation works taking place on the motorway close to Whitehall.
