The developers of Ireland's first factory outlet village plan to invest a further £10 million sterling (€16 million) in the shopping complex, which could create several hundred new jobs in Co Tyrone.

An American IT services support company, ACS International Resources, has also announced a £1.4 million investment boost for Belfast, which should create up to 40 jobs in the city.

The Moygashel Community Development Association plans to add another 75,000 sq. foot of retail space to the Linen Green complex in Tyrone which currently houses designers, manufacturers and retailers.

Sx3, the IT and business process outsourcing company, a subsidiary of Viridian, the parent company of Northern Ireland Electricity, has invested £4 million in a "centre of excellence" also located on the site.
