New flagship smartphone has 12 megapixel camera and able to record 4K videos

This year, it seems to be all about the camera. The Huawei P9 laid down the gauntlet to the mobile makers, and HTC seems only too happy to take it up. Its new handset, the HTC 10, comes with bigger pixels and a wider aperture to help grab as much light as possible.

The company brings its UltraPixel technology to the 10, at 12 megapixels instead of the four that the M8 had, and Optical Image Stabilisation to take the shake out of your shots.

It shoots 4K video to, and has high-res audio, something that HTC is confident that you’ve been missing from your video. The display is 5.2 inches, meaning that although it’s large it’s easier to grip one-handed, and quad HD resolution to make videos look great.
