Silicon Systems (SSL), the semiconductor design company, has announced that Mr Bill McCabe has joined the company's board as a director.
Mr McCabe, a shareholder in SSL, played a key role in the development of CBT Systems, the leading provider of interactive education software.
SSL, based in Dublin, has 185 employees which it will increase by 130 following an £8.2 million investment. The company also has offices in Limerick and Cork, and in Scotts Valley and San Jose in California.
