Slimming group to expand workforce

Australian healthcare business Probiotec has opened a European manufacturing headquarters in Dundalk in a move that will see it significantly expand its workforce here.

The company, which manufactures the Celebrity Slim range of diet products, employs 15 people at its Louth plant.

The company said yesterday that figure would double in the next 12 months and rise to 70 over the next three years.
