RyanairLabs, a state-of-the-art digital and IT innovation hub based at the airline’s office in Swords, is looking to fill a number of roles as it continues the recruitment of 200 new staff to develop a new online travel platform.

In addition to the role of chief technology officer, the airline is also seeking to fill a range of roles, including executive positions, in the areas of software development, data, QA and testing, UX and design and media. It hopes to have all positions filled by December.

Positions include: head of digital marketing; mobile developer: Android or iOS; head of mobile; UX specialist and social media manager.

According to spokesman for the airline Robin Kiely, the airline is hoping “to change the world of online travel and we’re going to do that through Ryanair Labs”.

“We’re seeking to hire the best of the best to reimagine the online travel sector. Whether you write code or copy we want free thinkers, creatives and people who can not only imagine, but build amazing experiences,” he said, adding that Ryanair Labs “will offer the perks and culture of a start-up without the downsides”.
