Advertising industry seeks aspiring creatives

Students and graduates invited to pitch their work at Portfolio Lab event

A two-week summer placement at Ogilvy Dublin is up for grabs at the inaugural Portfolio Lab, where up to 60 students and graduates of advertising will get the chance to have their work critiqued by Ireland’s top creative directors.

Taking place on Wednesday, May 29th, the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland event is asking aspiring creatives to produce one execution of a campaign to promote Portfolio Lab itself – the person who best communicates how Portfolio Lab could be positioned as the top creative event to connect with the advertising industry wins the Ogilvy placement.

All attendees will have their portfolios reviewed in scheduled meetings with three experienced Irish creatives, some 34 of whom are lined up for feedback duties on the night. Students and graduates are invited to show up to 15 pieces of work, from brand identities to apps to guerilla campaigns to “something your agencies haven’t thought of yet”.
