Another Blu for iNua

Irish-based wealth management consultancy iNua, headed by Noel Creedon, has bought the Radisson Blu Hotel in Limerick weeks after acquiring Cork's Radisson Blu Hotel.

The company paid €3.5 million for the four-star Limerick hotel which was sold by Kirsty Rothwell of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald on the instructions of joint receivers Kieran Wallace and Niall Macklin. It has 154 bedrooms and is on 20 acres of grounds a few miles from Thomond Park, home to Munster rugby.

The hotel was built in 1970 and refurbished in 2002. It has extensive conference facilities capable of seating 800 and a good leisure centre with swimming pool, gymnasium, outdoor hot tub, sauna and treatment rooms.

iNua paid €9 million for the 126-bedroom Cork hotel developed in 2005 for €37 million. The modern hotel, attached to the restored 19th century Ditchley House, is on nine acres adjoining the East Gate Business Park and Little Island. It was sold by Savills.
