€1.3m for refurbished school

Kellie O’Brien of the Savills agency is seeking €1.3 million for St Kevin’s School, a former girls’ national school dating from the 1880s, on Grantham Street in Dublin 8.

The 659 sq m (7,100sq ft) building has been substantially refurbished and converted into office use in recent years.

The building is currently producing a rental income of €81,000 per annum, which equates to €123 per sq m (€11.50 per sq ft.

One Grantham Street is located just off the popular Camden Street and is occupied by six office tenants on a variety of leases.

The restored building is most attractive internally.

It retains many of its original features including an ornate staircase, exposed roof trusses and a plaque in the front porch to James F Connolly, parish priest in the area from 1898 to 1906.
