FORGET the lunch is for wimps culture

FORGET the lunch is for wimps culture. A new survey published by Boots the chemist has linked the lack of a proper lunchbreak to all manner of ills. Low productivity stress and a poor sex life can all be traced back to not having lunch, according to the survey. It claims that starved and tired workers were costing Britain £32 million sterling a year.

The neat conclusions appear to have been derived by asking people if they felt stressed after not having a lunchbreak and then finding out what other problems people attributed to stress. The Margin thinks the ESRI computer might be a little unhappy with the methodology.

The Guardian took the trouble to detail "other silly surveys". One, conducted by Durex, found that Blackpool was the sex capital of Britain, while a survey by the association of lecturers and teachers found - surprise, surprise - that politicians lose votes if they criticise the teaching profession. Lies, damned lies and surveys.
