Royal Liver Assurance has completed its purchase of Guardian Life Ireland for £105 million (€133 million).
The sale was announced last year following Sun Life and Provincial Holdings' purchase of Guardian Royal Exchange. After the takeover, Sun Life put Guardian Life up for sale. Royal Liver's expanded operations in Ireland will employ 695 people, including Guardian Life's entire workforce.
