Ryanair war of words rumbles on

For those sitting on the sidelines the rather one-sided war of words between Ryanair boss, Mick O'Leary and the hapless Minister for Transport, Mary O'Rourke, has grown tedious.

This week's release of the company's first-quarter figures was accompanied by a now traditional attack on the minister. O'Leary worked him self up into his usual rage over O'Rourke's failure to order Aer Rianta to lie down and roll over in order to facilitate O'Leary's plan for world domination.

Nothing new in that, the Margin ventured to one of O'Leary's lieutenants this week. Wrong came the reply.

"He has called her inept. I don't think he has done that before."
