Low fares airline Ryanair has attacked plans by Aer Lingus to offer a major seat sale yesterday, describing it as "humbug". "By contrast, Ryanair has captured the true spirit of Christmas with over half a million seats on sale, including all routes to and from Ireland at just €10 one-way (€20 return), including all taxes," it said in a statement. Ryanair's fares must be booked between now and New Year's Day.
