Devotees of the newly-popular consensus/index funds should take a peek at BCP Stockbrokers' recently released Pension Fund Review. For the first time, an analysis of these funds was possible as Canada Life, Friends First and Norwich Union have all joined long-term player Irish Life.
The review also surveys the six-month performance of pension managed funds, consensus funds' performance relative to that of managed funds and the percentage increase in the size of managed funds.
The review complements the BCP 1999 Pension Investment Managers Survey published earlier this year.
