Printech International, the supply chain IT management services company, yesterday renamed itself Sercom Solutions to reflect the wider range of services the company now offers to the IT industry.
Speaking at the announcement in Dublin, Mr Jim Flavin, chief executive of DCC and chairman of Sercom Solutions, said: "There is a growing trend among major international IT companies to outsource a range of activities. Sercom Solutions provides outsourced solutions for the supply chain management requirements of these companies."
Sercom, a subsidiary of DCC, also introduced two new e-commerce tools, e-Vision and e-File, which will allow their customers online access to its information systems.
