Silicon & Software Systems has appointed Mr Bernard Neeson as director of sales and business development

Silicon & Software Systems has appointed Mr Bernard Neeson as director of sales and business development. He is a science graduate of Queens University Belfast who worked previously for IBM Ireland.

McCann FitzGerald has announced the appointment of three new partners. They are Mr David Lydon, Ms Vanessa FitzGerald and Mr David Byers, all of whom practise in McCann FitzGerald's Corporate & Commercial Department.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Mr Pat Wall as e-business leader. His responsibilities will be to give leadership to the ebusiness solutions practice of the company and to co-ordinate the firms e-business activities across the traditional service lines.

Ms Ailish Forde has been appointed director general of the Retail Grocery, Dairy and Allied Trades' Association. She worked previously with Guinness Brewing Worldwide and IBEC.

Worldoffruit.com, the Fyffes subsidiary, has made two new appointments. Mr Francis Hackett has been appointed general counsel for Worldoffruit.com, and Ms Tina McVeigh has been appointed marketing director.

Mr Matt Dempsey has been appointed chairman of the board of management at the Royal Dublin Society. Mr Dempsey is the editor and chief executive of the Irish Farmers Journal. He has been a council member of the RDS since 1993.

Irish Multi-channel has appointed Mr David Bates director of business services. Mr Bates will oversee the roll-out of IMC's full range of high-speed broadband services.

Mr Richard Wisentaner has been appointed to the fixed interest team at AIB's Investment Managers. He joins AIBIM from Bank of Boston where he managed bonds funds for four years. Prior to that he was employed by Keystone Investments.

WBT, a leading provider of enterprise learning management solutions, has appointed Mr Mark McGuinness as vice-president of product development. Mr McGuinness has more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry and formerly worked for Oracle.

Macra na Feirme has appointed Mr Mark Fagan as finance manager. He joins the company from the Eircom Staff Credit Union.
