EBS building society has announced immediate changes at general management level. Mr Mike Lennon, formerly general manager (funding) becomes managing director of EBS Asset Managers and general manager, (treasury).

Mr Michael Keane, formerly general manager (marketing) becomes general manager (customer funding). Mr Pat Farrell, formerly general manager (retail operations) becomes general manager, (marketing and communications).

Ms Louise Allen has established Allen Recruitment Consulting, an information technology (IT) recruitment company which deals with permanent and contract IT workers. Ms Allen is a director of the new company.

The company is run by former IT professionals and will focus on placing programmers, project managers, call centre specialists and sales and marketing personnel.

Mr Fiachra Driscoll is to take on the role of commercial director of Beamish & Crawford, after a spell as finance director.

Mr Mark Sexton, previously financial accountant has been appointed commercial manager at the company.

Mr Stephen Murphy, currently management accountant, is the new financial controller and company secretary and joins the Beamish & Crawford board.

The management information systems manager, Mr John Buckley, will now report directly to the managing director and will be responsible for the ongoing development of IT at the company.

Ms Ruth McAdams is the new brand manager with C & C Ireland. Ms McAdams will have responsibility for Volvic and Evian mineral water brands. Ms McAdams joined C & C in 1996 as marketing assistant.

Mr Laurence Shields has joined the boards of Conduit Enterprises and Conduit Software, the telesales and software companies. Mr Shields is managing partner of LK Shields Solicitors and is outgoing president of the Law Society.

Mr Padraig Campbell, is the new operations manager for Acutek Adhesive's new manufacturing facility in Cornamona, Co Galway.

Mr David O'Riordan is the new editor of Business Contact, the magazine of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. He was previously a business and property journalist with Ireland on Sunday and has worked in several trade magazines.
