Openet signs Dutch deal

Openet Telecom, the Dublin-based technology firm, has signed a deal with Dutch cable TV firm Essent Kabelcom to supply its mediation product Fusionworks.

Fusionworks was selected to provide a convergent billing and mediation strategy for the operation of a second Nortel switch, which had recently been implemented into the Essent network to streamline cable TV, telephone and internet services.
