Murphy Brewery Ireland has appointed Ms Jo Kramers as marketing manager for lagers. Ms Kramers was previously a marketing consultant with PDP International in London where she was responsible for international marketing strategies for a diversity of sectors.She will report to Murphys marketing director and will be responsible for the growth of Heineken, Coors and Amstel.Mr Mark Staunton has been appointed key account director at Noel Recruitment. Mr Staunton is currently a director of the company with responsibility for the sales and marketing sector.Mr Michael Groarke and Ms Sile Farrell have also been appointed directors of the company. Mr Ronan Doran is the new general manager of the Stillorgan Park Hotel. Mr Doran previouslsy held the post of general manager of the Palace Hotel, Manchester, which is a member of the Principal Group of hotels.Two former directors at KPMG, Mr Tony Walsh and Mr John Ryan have joined the tax department of Matheson, Ormsby, Prentice solicitors.The board of the Dublin-listed company, the Hampden Group, has appointed Mr Declan Gormley as operations director - non homebase operations. For the past two years Mr Gormley has been group sales director at the Sweater Shop plc.Mr Gormley will be responsible for the Allied Carpets and Rosebys franchises and the KwikFit and Reid Furniture joint ventures.Ms Gillian Bowler, the chief executive and founder of Budget Travel, has been appointed a non-executive director of Irish Life by managing director, Mr Conor McCarthy.The advertising agency, O'Connor O'Sullivan, has appointed Mr Barry Costello as account manager. He joins the agency from Scottish Courage in Britain where he was Beamish brand manager. Previously he held various marketing posts in Beamish & Crawford and Gilbeys of Ireland.Trio Tech International has announced that Mr Simon Costello has been appointed as one of its three new corporate vice presidents.Mr Costello joined the company in 1989 as managing director of Trio-Tech Ireland. In 1993 he was appointed general manager/director of its USA and Europe operations.
