THE Norwich Union, whose members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the company's intention to change its status from a mutual company to a publicly quoted one on the London Stock Exchange, has also just launched its first web site on the Internet.

This site, which can be visited at http://www.norwich-irish.ie, offers a comprehensive range of the company's insurance, investment, savings and pension products as well as a fun page - not something usually associated with insurance - and a visitor's book where users can leave their comments, ostensibly about the web site.

Given the lively nature of many insurance clients comments which Family Money receives about insurance and investments, Norwich Union's visitor's book should make for interesting browsing.
