North West infrastructure critical

The North West will lose investment and jobs unless a joint solution by the Irish and British governments can be found to the serious infrastructure problems in the area, the chairman of Intertrade Ireland warns. Addressing the inaugural meeting of the North-West Chambers of Commerce Initiative in Strabane, Co Tyrone yesterday, Mr Martin Naughton, who heads the group, said research showed the transport infrastructure in Ireland was getting worse.
