Endesa, the big Spanish power group, and Telecom Italia plan to pool their Internet and telecommunications interests in Spain with those of Union Fenosa, Spain's third-ranked utility, in a holding worth some $12.1 billion (€12 billion). The three companies would create the second-largest telecoms, new technology and Net-linked portfolio in Spain.
