Musgrave, the privately owned cash and carry group, has bought E. McKenna & Sons Ltd of Santry, Dublin for an undisclosed sum. McKenna's is a small privately owned business, delivering to the independent retailing sector in north Dublin and has an annual turnover of £6 million (€7.62 million).
Mr Frank Coghlan, managing director of Musgrave Cash & Carry, said McKenna's business would dovetail with Musgrave's delivery business and extend its north Dublin customer base. The company, which employs around 10 people, would transfer its business to Musgrave's 100,000 sq ft outlet in Ballymun, Dublin.
