Murphy doubles Cork output

Murphy Brewery has officially opened a keg racking facility, doubling its output in Cork to 800 kegs per hour

Murphy Brewery has officially opened a keg racking facility, doubling its output in Cork to 800 kegs per hour. The plant reflects an investment of £7 million (€8.9 million) by Murphy's parent company Heineken. The plant, which will keg Heineken and Murphy's Irish Stout for the domestic market, will allow the brewery to deliver about 40,000 kegs each week. Spanning 1,250 square metres, the complex is twice the physical area of the original plant.

Over the past decade, the Murphy Brewery has almost doubled its market share.
