Bookmaker Ladbrokes and the Irish Greyhound Board are among his first clients, along with Cullen, who has interests in a number of sectors.

For Cullen, it’s a case of You’re Retired in relation to his role as a non-executive director of the Dublin Aviation Authority.

His term with the DAA has expired, along with those of Peter Barrett of RBS Aviation Capital, Sir Michael Hodgkinson, formerly of the BAA, and Marie O’Connor of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

These positions will now have to be filled by Minister for Transport Leo Varadkar in addition to that of chairman, which has been vacant since David Dilger stepped down suddently earlier this year.
