DUBLIN-BASED Irish Distillers chief Alexandre Ricard might have allowed himself a celebratory glass of Jameson last night after being elevated to the board of Pernod Ricard, which is chaired by his uncle Patrick.
Alexandre, who is just 37, has been tipped for the top job in Paris one day. This appointment might yet prove an important first step along the way.
