An Ard Scoil Ris team in Limerick has won the senior category in the Golden Vale Young Entrepreneurs' Scheme. The team, Padraic Ryan and Kieran Bree, were presented with their trophies yesterday by the President, Mrs McAleese.
The intermediate category prize went to Emma Ni Ghligsain, Aoife Ni Dhuibhir and Ryan O'Dochortaigh from Gael Colaiste Ui Chonba in Newcastle West, Co Limerick, while the junior category was won by Naoisa O'Brien, from Muckross Park College in Dublin.
A total of 110 students with 39 businesses competed in the national finals of the Golden Vale Young Entrepreneurs' Scheme.
