THE privately owned Connacht Court Group, the country's largest textile rental service, this week it is to embark on a £5 million current workforce of 500. Tom Joyce, managing director of the Galway based enterprise, says that the group has doubled its size over the past five years and expects growth to double again over the next five years.

Connacht Court, supplying linen for the healthcare and corporate sector, is prospering from strong demand for its services across a broad commercial front. Linen Supply of Ireland, the core operating unit, is the Republic's largest supplier of commercial linen services. Group results released this week show pre tax profits moving ahead to £611,398 on a £2 million improvement in turnover at £23 million.
