Congratulations to the overall winners of the Leaders of Tomorrow Award 2014, Nubi Kayode and Alex Keaney (pictured above with Accenture Ireland Country Managing Director, Mark Ryan) for their business idea, One Place.
The Leaders of Tomorrow Award Final took place on 10th April in Accenture’s office in Grand Canal Square. This year’s finalists delivered their business pitches to a panel of business leaders; Nuala Canning (Brandfire), Sonia Flynn (Facebook), Liam Kavanagh (The Irish Times), Gary Leyden (NDRC), Peter O’Donovan (Paddy Power) and Mark Ryan (Accenture).
Following deliberations, the judging panel announced One Place as the overall winners of this year’s award. Nubi and Alex will now have the option of a place on NDRC’s LaunchPad programme or an internship with Accenture, as well as going on the Leaders of Tomorrow Tour of an Accenture Global Innovation Centre.
Congratulations to each of this year’s finalists, who were all of an exceptionally high standard and ensured the judges’ decision was not an easy one. Tara Justin finished in 2nd place with Peter Duffy taking 3rd. The remaining finalists – John Burke, Michael Foley, Owen McCabe and Norma O’Mahony – were of exceptional ability with very good ideas. Expect to see big things in the future from each of the Leaders of Tomorrow 2014 Finalists.
