Indigo today:

We're a marketing company. We sell a service. Our service is communications and the ability to buy and sell. That's what we're really selling to people every day now.

Internet access:

I think the next big thing will be handheld devices, like Psions. They'll open the market to a whole new bunch of people. Internet access over mobile phones will also be very big.

Cable TV challenge:

ISPs will get into bed with cable TV companies but it'll be one and a half to two years before the wiring is in place to carry the signals. New devices could make cable TV a no-no. And I'd like to see their business model. If everything else is free, are they going to charge customers?

Working abroad:

I think everyone in business should work abroad for a while. It widens your experience. You can learn from others. And it shows you the good bits and the bad bits about Ireland.

Falling Internet stocks:

They're over-priced, but they're still a very good bet. Some companies will have a major future. But you have to prove to shareholders that you can make money.

The future:

There's no such thing as the future in this business. The future is only three months away.
