MEDICAL DEVICES INDUSTRY:Medical devices company Stryker Instruments is to invest €30 million in research and development at its Cork based facility, with the creation of 20 jobs.
The investment will see the Carrigtohill plant, develop the next generation of surgical devices for global markets and play a leading role in the development of technologies.
It will lead to the creation of 20 research and development positions at the plant over the next four years.
The research and development facility will work with other Stryker businesses to develop technologies that will be used in medical procedures.
