Glencar set to reposition

Glencar Mining says it is looking to reposition itself to take account of the slump in precious and base metals. Chief executive Mr Hugh McCullough said Glencar was looking for a joint-venture partner for its Kildare zinc project, but warned that in real terms zinc prices were currently at their lowest level since the 1930s. Glencar was also in discussions in relation to its gold interests in Ghana and Uganda, he said.
