Special interest areas include a virtual dealing room where attendees can experience the buzz of equity trading in a simulated environment. An antiques show section demonstrates the rewards of placing money in art and antiques.

Every hour industry professionals assist members of the public through the financial maze with seminars in subjects from nest eggs, stock options, debt management and online investing. All sessions are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Speakers include Mr Basil D'Arcy, Goodbody Stockbrokers; Mr Pat Gunne, Gunne Property; Ms Katherine Lucey, Irish Software Association; Mr Paul Overy, Financial Engineering Network; a spokesperson from financial website Motley Fool UK; Mr Brian Bohan, Bohan Solicitors; and stock market-loving journalist Ms Nell McCaffrey.

The nuts and bolts of financial products and services are also well-represented by pension, credit card and investment companies. The Consumers' Association of Ireland will also be on hand to offer consumers advice on their rights and entitlements in relation to financial investments.

Even individuals who are not interested in free advice may use the event to collect information from service providers and advisers alike.

For three days only, the financial services industry is available under one roof so hurry down and catch a piece of the action.
