LONDON RENTAL PROPERTY:ANGLO IRISH Bank's annual report confirms that close family members of its former chairman Seán FitzPatrick received rental income on a UK property that was rented out to employees of the bank.

The owners of the property, which is understood to be an apartment in London, received €31,500 in rent from the bank in 2008 and €35,500 the previous year.

In its “related party” dis- closures, the Anglo Irish Bank accounts state that the property was “actively used to accommodate group employees working in the UK on a temporary basis” rather than hotels.

Other “related party” transactions show that companies relating to two directors of the bank received fees for services incurred by Anglo Irish Bank in the year ending on September 30th, 2008.
