Equity Bank, the Irish subsidiary of Bank of Scotland, was one of a number of banks that participated in a syndicated leveraged lease deal on behalf of the Polish national airline, LOT.
Equity provided $7.5 million (€8.1 million) of the total funding of $27.3 million to allow LOT purchase a number of aircraft. The syndicate was arranged by Citibank in London and also included Credit Lyonnais and Hypo Vereinsbank.
