O’Carroll to take reins at Calor

Current chief Kossack moves to management board role at parent

Long-serving senior manager Tom O'Carroll will take over as chief executive of LPG suppliers Calor Gas from next month.

Mr O’Carroll has 34 years experience with the company, 15 of them with the senior management team in roles including director of corporate affairs and chief operating officer

He spent four years working for Calor’s parent, multinational SHV Energy, in China, where he set up a number of joint ventures to facilitate the group’s entry to the market there.

Mr O'Carroll is taking over from Michael Kossack, who was appointed to SHV's management board last year and is moving to the Netherlands to lead operations for the region that includes Ireland.
