EMPLOYMENT:Solid fuels supplier CPL Fuels Ireland has said it will create up to 20 jobs over the next 12 months, as the company announced plans to expand its Irish operation.

CPL, which supplies fuels to homes, has lodged a planning application to build a bagging and processing facility at Foynes Port, Co Limerick.

The company said the jobs will be split between the new bagging facility, its head office in Dundalk and its sales team.

CPL Fuels Ireland is a subsidiary of CPL Industries, which describes itself as “one of Europe’s largest solid fuel suppliers to domestic households”.
