Diageo seals Dewar's sale

Diageo has announced the completion of the sale of Dewar's Scotch whisky brand and the Bombay gin brands, together with related assets, to Bacardi for a cash consideration of £1.15 billion. Formal clearance for the sale by European and US regulatory authorities has already been granted.
