The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) has expressed concern about the impact of onerous and unnecessary compliance measures that apply to directors of small firms.

CPA president Ms Bernadette McGrory-Farrell has warned the institute will be monitoring company law regulations to ensure they do not stymie the entrepreneurial culture in the Irish economy.
