Three country hotels feature in next Allsop Space auction

Three provincial hotels are among a large number of commercial properties due to be sold at the next Allsop Space auction in the RDS on October 15th.

A reserve price of €350,000-€400,000 has been set in advance of the auction of Grant’s 24 bedroom hotel at Main Street, Roscrea, Co Tipperary. The hotel has two restaurants, a bar, function room and nightclub extending to 2,329sq m (25,070sq ft).


Reserve
In Co Westmeath, a reserve of €285,000-€325,000 is being quoted for the Hilamar Hotel at Main Street, Kinnegad, which has 46 bedrooms, bar, bistro, function room and nightclub.

A reserve price of not more than €175,000 has been set for the auction of the 48-bedroom Caiseal Mara Hotel at Foyle Street, Moville, Inisowen, Co Donegal. Apart from the reception area and lobby, there are two function rooms, a restaurant, bar, kitchen and staff rooms. All the hotel contents are included in the sale.

In Dublin 8, a reserve range of €365,000-€395,000 has been set for the auction of The Barley House at Cork Street, which includes four long leasehold retail units along with a long leasehold office unit and six car-parking spaces. The office unit it let to VIP Taxi & Courier Services at €47,775 per annum. The remainder of the 1,040sq m (112,194sq ft) building is vacant.

Also in Dublin 8, Allsop Space is to auction a freehold residential property which dates from the 1840s, adjoins the Phoenix Park and overlooks the river Liffey. A reserve of not more than €350,000 has been set in advance of the auction of a four- bedroom house and two derelict one-bedroom cottages.

A reserve range of €500,000 to €550,000 has been set for a freehold five-bedroom semi-detached house and a separate mews house at 100 Lower Drumcondra Road, Dublin 9.


Freehold
In Blackrock, Co Dublin, there will be a reserve of €250,000 when a mid-terrace house extending to 1,360sq m (14,639sq ft) at 8 Seafort Parade goes under the hammer. The house is laid out in three bedsits.

A reserve range of €225,000/€275,000 will apply when Allsop Space auction a freehold mixed-use investment at 17/17a Quinnsborough Road. A commercial unit is included along with a two-bedroom apartment and three one-bedroom units. Two of the apartments are occupied by tenants. The current rent is €34,500.
