Thomas Read and The Oak sell for around €2.7 million

One of Dublin’s best known bars, Thomas Read and The Oak, at the junction of Dame Street and Parliament Street, has been sold by Morrissey’s for a figure believed to be around €2.7 million.

The business, sold on the instructions of receiver Martin V Ferris, also includes six overhead bedsits and four apartments in need of refurbishment.
