The newly-developed row of shops on Dublin’s South Anne Street are now fully occupied following the decision by Irish retailer Anne McNamee to relocate her Kitchen Complements business from Chatham Street to the premises at Number 2.

Apart from selling kitchen appliances and gadgets, the new business will also include cookery demonstrations. The trader has apparently agreed a staggered rent, starting at €150,000 and rising to €200,000 in five years. The shop was previously rented by Guess Jeans. The adjoining retail unit, formerly occupied by Aveda, has been let to Aviary Lane Hair Studios. Letting agents Savills had been quoting a rent of €75,000 for this unit.

Stephen McCarthy of Savills, who handled the letting for landlord-solicitor Ivor Fitzpatrick, said the arrival of the two new trades would be a great addition to the street. Graham Farley of Farley Property advised Kitchen Complements.
