THE PROPERTY group Real Estate Alliance (REA) and Dublin commercial agent HWBC have announced a formal affiliation that is designed to provide a more extensive service to their clients.

HWBC is well established in the commercial property market, while REA represents a group of over 40 agents based in the Dublin suburbs and the provinces.

As well as the traditional services, such as property management, agency work and valuations, the new affiliation will be equipped to provide asset management and more focused consultancy advice on issues such as investment and corporate real estate finance.

Philip Farrell, business development manager of REA, said that because of the significant changes being experienced in the property sector they believed there was a real need for a nationwide property service comprising experienced chartered surveyors in all sectors of the industry. The affiliation would provide a comprehensive national property service to their clients.

Jonathan Hillyer, managing director of HWBC, welcomed the affiliation and said that together they could provide a stronger platform in a market that required property advisers to show more innovation and the ability to offer a full spectrum of services exploiting local knowledge all the way to being able to access foreign capital investment. Now that they were linked with REA they could deliver that service throughout the country.
